Bella Notte Dominates Distaff Sprint

Bella Notte toyed with stablemate Thanks for the Tip up until the turn for home and then turned it on to snke the field by a solid seven and going away. She ran exactly like a 1-5 shot is supposed to. The win gives trainer Mac Robertson his third winner on the day and Bell gets his second with the Sprint Championship remaining. Robertson has two going in the next and Bell is abord one of them.

Minnesota Distaff Sprint

The second to last championship to be decided is up next, the Minnesota Distaff Sprint. Overwhelming favorite, Bella Notte opened at 1-5 and is now 1-2. The only way I can envision her losing is if Thanks for the Tip really takes it to her early. The defending champion tried that once before this season and sat in second the entire way against the favorite in the Lady Slipper. Bella Notte came up short in the Princess Elaine, but this distance and surface suites her much better.

Tough to bet this one, even with Bella Notte drifting up to 2-5!
