Happiness Is under Rosemary Homeister Jr. upset Euphony in the $100,000 Lady Canterbury Stakes this afternoon. 4/5 favorite Euphony tracked the speed mid-pack through most of the race and started to make her move at the top of final turn for home. It was about the same spot that Happiness Is seized the lead from Fabulous Babe and held off Euphony as they both drifted toward the middle of the track. While Euphony closed steadily, Happiness Is stubbornly held on to the wire to win by half a head.
